What's PalPosition?
 
1. PalPosition is a location based community.
This means that you can locate your friends and colleagues, and you can participate in the community by sharing your position and submit your own landmarks and blog entries.
 
2. It uses mobile phones and GPS.
GPS can be either integrated in the phone itself or via external Bluetooth GPS modules.
 
3. Share your location and your experiences.
It's easy to share your location and experiences via PalPosition, and you can invite friends to your personal PalPosition map and blog pages.
 
4. Integrated Free SMS.
PalPosition gives you a Free SMS service to communicate with your friends. The short messages can be sent and received both from the PalPosition website and from the PalPosition application running in your mobile.
 
5. Not all need GPS.
PalPosition can be used even if you do not have a GPS enabled phone. Without GPS you can still see where your friends are, and they can see where you are, if you specify your location manually, either by coordinates or by predefined landmarks.
